He worked as a Distinguished Member at AT&T Bell Labs in the US until he set up in 1998 NeoWave, a venture company that he got listed in KOSDAQ. He worked as chief of KT's New Business Office and Advanced Institute of Technology in 2007. President Choi is known as a "technology-based executive" with proven capabilities and background as an engineer in the industry. The general consensus is that his extensive expertise and experiences in technologies as well as the industry make him the best candidate for the position. I will now focus on developing and promoting new businesses as the future growth driver to realize sustainable growth," the new president vowed.

POSCO ICT will convene this coming 14th the board of directors and temporary stockholders' meeting, which will provide official authorization for the appointment of a new president.
