POSCO ICT was given the Award of Excellence at the 2016 POSCO Quality Management Award Ceremony for having been selected as the best POSCO subsidiary company. The Quality Management Awards selects 18 organizations, affiliates, and partner companies after reviewing 72 quality management criteria and awards them in recognition of their outstanding performances in finance and environment for the previous year.

POSCO ICT received an A+ rating for customer services, internal competencies, and commitment to shared growth for its partner companies. It also received top marks for independently developing an open source search engine, improving the customer VOC response system, and launching an open bidding system. A+ is the second highest rating on a grading scale with 11 rating levels. It was the highest rating achieved among the companies that were evaluated.

POSCO ICT plans to continue pursuing quality enhancement activities including establishing quality management standards for strategic businesses like smart factory and preventing COPQ through data correlation analysis and risk management of external businesses.
