POSCO ICT will be the lead business partner in Jeju Test Bed Project, and it will create a consortium with LG Chemical, RIST, Korea Institute of Energy Research, Daekyung, and Woojin Industrial Systems to carry out the tasks in the Smart Renewable field.

The Test Bed will be used to develop the output stabilization technology and ensure the stable supply of renewable energy sources like wind and solar power with irregular outputs. POSCO ICT also plans to establish the Micro Grid Platform for the energy optimization in rural, urban areas and industry sites and lead the technology standardization effort. The Smart Grid Test Bed Establishment Project is run under the leadership of the Ministry of Knowledge Economy.
