POSCO ICT will hold a YouTube contest for the disabled and teenagers following last year.
This year, the event will be divided into adult and youth divisions and will be held on an individual or team basis. Adults can participate alone or in teams with non-disabled people.
The youth department is open to anyone regardless of whether they are disabled or not.
Under the theme of improving awareness of the disabled, August 31st is the deadline for applications.
The awards will be divided into the adult and youth divisions, respectively, with POSCO ICT Award (1 team), Superior Prize (2 teams), Encouragement Prize (2 teams), the challenge prize (10 teams).

POSCO ICT also operates a "YouTube Creator Training Program."
Prior to this contest, the company has been educating disabled people on the entire YouTube production process, including video planning, filming and editing, through a three-month course. In particular, it has a filming studio to enable actual video production and supports free use of equipment and props.
Yun Su-geol, director of POSCO ICT's Corporate Citizens' Office, said, "We are promoting a contest to run a program to educate the video production process amid growing social interest in YouTube and to show off the skills we learned here." He explained, "We are actively promoting 'smart school' activities such as YouTube production, AI and Big Data education, and practicing POSCO Group's management concept of 'Business Citizen developing together'."
