POSCO ICT (CEO: Hur Nam-Suk) announced that it will officially operate the Eco Media Wall, which can provide a range of information with plants and LED lighting system on the wall.

As a convergence of construction and IT technologies, the Eco Media Wall decorates the lobbies of the main buildings with plants amid LED lights and monitors instead of the usual paintings.

Finance, weather information, news, welcome greetings to visitors, and other video information can be expressed in various ways.

Upon its emerging interests in eco-friendly industry, Eco Media Wall solution is rapidly penetrating construction markets as well with its various display devices, which are capable of providing various information aside from the green wall decoration

Accordingly, POSCO ICT, in collaboration with Ecowall Co., Ltd., has developed the plant-growing LED Display where people can set up plants on the wall and the interior Wall Display and registered related patents

POSCO ICT installed the system in Pankyo Smart Tower for promotion to visitors. On the other hand, in the POSCO Family IF (Innovation Festival) Event held last Dec. 5, the system was set up to promote family companies and in preparation for selling to domestic major buildings and advancement in overseas markets.

According to POSCO ICT officers, the central and local governments nowadays are encouraging the green decoration of roofs and walls and promoting its supply; hence its bright and promising prospects. Major buildings in the country are eager to introduce it since a variety of information can be conveyed with eco-friendly green decoration, they said.
