The POSCO DX AI Developer Conference, where AI developers from POSCO Group companies gather in one place, was held successfully.

On the 27th, the conference held at POSCO DX Pangyo office building was held to spread related technologies to steel mills, construction, and secondary battery material production sites by presenting, exhibiting, and demonstrating AI technologies developed by POSCO DX AI developers. The event was attended by AI developers and domain experts from major affiliates of the group, including POSCO Holdings, POSCO International, POSCO E&C, POSCO Future M, POSCO Flow, SNNC, and RIST. It was the first developer-centered conference of POSCO Group, and it was a place where you could feel the changed SW development culture of POSCO Group.

At the conference, there were 18 cases of industrial AI application technologies such as "Crane opens Eyes!" (AI technology for unmanned ship cranes), "I'm responsible for your cargo" (Depth estimation & enhancement technology for load estimation), and "Meeting Vision technology and control through raw material entry pattern analysis." In addition, eight technologies were exhibited and demonstrated, including AI three-dimensional wire rod recognition and crane autonomous control demonstration, AI-based main shape recognition, and abnormal detection monitoring.

"POSCO DX is focusing on convergence of AI and OT technologies, AI technology as a decision-making tool, and minimizing AI development/operation costs," said Yoon Il-yong, executive director of POSCO DX Technology Research Institute.

Meanwhile, POSCO DX organizes and operates four AI-specialized labs, including Vision Lab, Anomaly Detection Lab, BD Analytics Lab, and Data Engineering Lab.
